OVERVIEW
This gallery houses artistic explorations of several industry generative AI tools & platforms with strong emphasis in developing art direction for studio portraiture.
The objective of each respective set of images was to assess prompting results with nuance. Modeling details were first defined to challenge the platform with diversity, wrangling hallucinations and generic crossover. Prompting was then defined by precise portraiture terminology and expressions—talent posing & posture, lens type, f-stop, lighting arrangement including key, flag and rim.
The results were then enlarged via generative upscale. Retouching was conducted to further explore practical application of deploying to market through traditional methods as well as in-painting for specific features.
